Hello everyone! welcome back to my blog. In this week blog, i will tell you about announcement.

An announcement is a written or spoken statement in public or formal words containing information about an event that has happened or is going to happen so publicly people know what, when, and where it is about.

The announcement function is to provide the reader with information about what happened, or what will happen.


An announcement has 4 generic structures :

1. Stating Purpose: The text that contains what event will be held

2. Stating Day and Date: Day and Date realization. The text that contains when the event will be held

3. Stating Place: The text that contains where the event will be held

4. Informing Sender: The text that contains name of the person who will be contacted


The types of announcement are :

- Public service announcement (PSA)

- Engagement announcement

- Pregnancy announcement

- Business announcement

- Job announcement

  Hello everyone! how are you all? i hope you all doing fine! Today, i want to show you the structure of R.A. Kartini recount text. Recounts are used to tell or write about past events. Remember that a recount consists of  an orientation ,  a series of events , and  a reorientation . ORIENTATION Raden Adjeng Kartini was born in Jepara on April 21, 1876. She comes from a noble family. Her father, Raden Mas Adipati Ario Sosroningrat is a regent who governed Jepara at that time. While her mother, MA Ngasirah descended from the common people. Like the other children from noble descent in general, she lived in prosperity and strict Javanese rules. She is the 5th child of 11 brothers and sisters coming from her biological and stepmother. Among her siblings from her biological mother, she is the eldest daughter. R.A Kartini studied in the ELS School (Europese Lagere School). Hello everyone! How is it going? Today's blog topic is about the outline of the recount text : Battle of Surabaya. In my previous blog, i already told you about the definition of recount text, the purposes of recount text, and also the generic structures of recount text. What are the generic structures of a recount text? the generic structures are : 1. Orientation tells who was involved, what happened, where the events took place, and when it happened 2.
