today, i want to tell you my experience when i met my idol. but first, let me introduce you to Recount Text. what is a recount text and what are the characteristics of recount text?

recount text also has a generic structures. what are the generic structures?


I want to retell you all about my experience when i met my idol two years ago😆

WHEN I MET MY IDOL


My favorite writer is Andori. or you may know her as Dorippu. i had always been thinking of how i would feel when i met her. then, i found out that dorippu made a new book about her life when she lived in japan. and surprisingly, she was making a meet and greet event for her new book at a local bookstore. i feel so excited, i searched for more information about the meet and greet event. turned out the event was on saturday, i am so happy because on saturday i didn't have to attend any schedule. i also persuade my friend to came with me to the meet and greet event. she agreed, and we went there together.


On that bright saturday afternoon, my friend and i went to the local bookstore together to attend the meet and greet event. we were so enthusiast to meet our idol, dorippu. the bookstore was filled with dorippu's fans. we all lined up to got in the room for the meet and greet. the room was quite small, however it still sufficient for all of her fans. a mini pink stage with dorippu's new book poster was prepared. i love the setting of the stage, it's pink and it matched dorippu's personality. it took a long time for dorippu to showed up, but all of her fans and i were still really excited to meet dorippu. finally, after 30 minutes, dorippu showed up! she greeted all of us with a smile, she was really nice to us. the crowd went crazy after she showed up. she started talking about her new book, for example, how did she came up with the idea, the cover of her new book, etc. she also answered some of her fans' questions. after that, the host announced that it was time for autographing the new book. i prepared my book that i just bought. i was really nervous, in view of the fact that i never met my idol before. when i met her, she was really sweet to me. we also had a little conversation. she asked my name so that she could write it on the book. grievously, i couldn't take a picture with her, considering the fact that it takes too much time, and other people are also waited for their book to get autographed. but it was fine for me.


i'm really happy on that day because i already met my idol, had a little talk with her, and my book already got an autograph with my name on it. she was very affectionate, so i didn't feel too nervous. she's such an amazing person!
